Beveling and smoothing all edges

Today we worked on beveling rectangles. The first set on the first pictures was made by beveling and changing the segments; the second set was made by changing the offset number.
On the second picture nothing was changed but they were all smoothed.
 I always wanted to do stuff like this but I learned today and it will really help me on my future projects.
